Social Campaign to Spread Love and Awareness

Entertaining and giving love to all the followers of MINISO in Chile was the mission that inspired the realization of this campaign, which at the same time, in addition to giving love, was educating users on how to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

At the beginning of the pandemic, when everyone was in quarantine in Chile, all MINISO stores were closed. To maintain their commitment to their audience, the I Love You From Afar campaign was created. This campaign was executed 100% online, delivering thousands of ideas to entertain consumers while they were locked up.

The campaign involved the creation of a series of mandalas with the themes of the main MINISO characters. These mandalas were made available on social networks for everyone to intervene with their own designs and drawings. The campaign was also amplified with the help of well-known influencers of the brand in the local market.

The I Love You From Afar campaign utilized social media platforms, vectorial illustrations, and Illustrator software to bring the designs to life. Stories, posts, and carousels were used to engage with the audience and spread the message of love and awareness.

Chile had recently entered quarantine, and MINISO had to find an authentic way to maintain contact with their audience, especially since all their stores were closed. The challenge was to generate hundreds of designs and characters to maintain communication and be in concert with the MINISO lovers during the pandemic.

This innovative campaign not only entertained and brought joy to MINISO's followers but also educated them on the importance of preventing the spread of Covid-19. It served as a unique way for the brand to stay connected with its audience and show their commitment even during challenging times.

The I Love You From Afar campaign was awarded Bronze in the A' Advertising, Marketing, and Communication Design Award in 2021. This recognition is bestowed upon outstanding and creatively ingenious designs that authenticate experience and resourcefulness. The campaign exhibited strong technical and creative skills, contributing to quality of life improvements and making the world a better place.
